It says no unauthorized use so here is a link to a small one of those "things" pretty neat:
On all of those "things" they have very long burning BP motors, wish a company would come out and make some certified motors like that for our use.

Just put the link in shows up so be it.

Yeah, LONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG burn is quite cool. I really like the parachute in the first post too - not something you normally see with Thai/Bang-Fai rockets (they usually just let them fall from the sky wherever they happen to come down).

That is awesome!!!! How do they get those motors to burn so long?! Would love to see what they look like and get my hands on some...

I wonder what NAR thinks of that?

I doubt that the NAR cares about what is going on in Thailand.

The first video was actually a pretty safe operation except for using hand lit fuses to initiate the launch. Was a nice safe recovery.

Might be fun to sort of partially emulate it in a small scale model with 6-8 E6 or F10 motors.

We USED to have a motor that would be able to do a reasonable facsimile, the old FSI F7. A cluster of those would work :)

Large diameter end burning black powder motors, like 4-5" diameter and 2-3 feet long. I agree with one other comment; lighting one of those things would be scary enough. Them some pretty big "bombs" to be standing near when they light :p

Here is another video of other, some smaller, girandola fireworks from Thailand. Interesting cato of one with four motors and a spectacular cato of another one with 4 motors, plus a couple that are lower and slower. The one from the first post is at the end of this linked video, as well.

Interesting and entertaining stuff!
