I do, I was the range manager for that LDRS. I was more concerned when the field owner went out a lit a pile of hay on fire near the runway ( closer to the historic aircraft hanger than our pads) to see how fast we'd respond, then he yelled at us for putting it out.

The bigger problem is air traffic route density this side of the Mississippi. That and plain old population causing the lack of any sizeable fields that could support that waiver.

If you use all thread that can be a bad idea. The all thread can act as a directional antenna and reduce device communication range at certain relative angles.

I'm assuming you might also want to try it with a sample of the propellant you're trying to light to see if the temp or pressure combination is adequate to actually light the stuff. But I'm just guessing here...
