    Stupid 38mm RMS question

Yep, as others have stated, the bigger red cap snaps over the forward closure to hold the BP. I usually add a bit of dog barf wadding before installing the cap to tamp down the BP in the well. On loads with just the paper disk, I use masking tape. Bob TRA6797

AAA Model Aviation Fuels was run by Al Andrake, whom not a peep has been heard from in 20 years or so. I really liked him and his company. I bought my first big models and motors from him. I remember Al. I met him at one of the Pearl River seminars, maybe 1988 ?. The Pennsylvania Crude was one...

Gizmo for L1? OR A RW LIL RASCAL

I built mine heavy at 6.50 lbs w/o motor (added some nose weight to move CG up a bit.) With an I300 (my favorite motor for this bird) it weights about 7.50 lbs and CG is just at 19 inches. Bob TRA6797

    LOC IV

I understand the original LOC IV had small fin tabs and a 29mm motor mount. LOC changed this several years ago and they now ship the LOC IV kit with a 38mm motor mount and fins that extend to the motor mount. The fin problem was probably with the earlier version of the kit. Dave, your right...
