I picked up a Quest Tomahawk kit from a club surplus sale. So here is my build thread

I did a build thread on a scratch build. The parts were obtained through a club surplus sale and turned out to be mostly Quest. At least, the parts I bought were mostly Quest.

I need a copy of the Goblin instruction sheets. I lost mine. The only one I can find is the old K-55 with the balsa nose cone. I need the newer one with the plastic nose cone.

Just starting a trident build. Just sanding and sealing all those nosecones takes awhile. I got a question for all of you. The fins on this model are only 3/32 thick and seem awful flimsy. I am thinking of tracing them out on some thicker stock. What do you guys think?

I have put together a Flip Flyer and I am considering a modification. I thought I would post it here and see what the community thinks of it. The Flip Flyer comes down in 2 pieces. One part is helicopter recovery and the nose section comes down on a small parachute. I hate trying to locate 2...

I have been trying to update some nosecones which are not in the current openrocket data files. Does anyone know where they are and how I can update them. I found 2 NCDATA.csv files and I tried to modify the 1st enrty to see if these were used and I am not seeing them in the nosecone list.

Would prefer the ork file, but I think open rocket can handle the rkt file also

Have they quit making the D12-3? I can find the D12-5 everywhere but no one seems to have the D12-3.

I got tired of the limitations in openrocket and the expense (and limitations) of Rocsim so I am trying out FreeCad. Here is my 1st attempt. What do you think of my DV3.

I didn't see another build of this model so I thought I would people a heads up. The instructions for this model are extremely poor. I recommend that you take the time to identify all the part before starting because it is very hard to determine from the step instructions.

I am fed up with estes igniters since they quit putting pyrogen on them. Does anyone have a good source for pyrogen I could dip them in?
