In a more general sense, I too see it as a filtering field, not a sorting field. Since I can already use manufacture as a filter, if the manufacturer names were made consistent then I would have nothing else to ask for (on this topic).

On the other hand, there's this: https://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/csem/nitrate_2013/docs/nitrate_patient-education.pdf Again, dose. And age; infants are especially susceptible. From the linked CDC paper: For infants who are bottle-fed, nitrate poisoning can happen when nitrate contaminated drinking...

What would a "search-like interface" be that's not what's already there? Fixing the manufacturer name issue would make the existing search easier to use, but other than that I don't see what's missing.

    Gary Larsen's Farside Rocket - A BT-80H Scratch Build

I don't know about OR. RS does 3DOF: altitude, up/down range distance, and pitch/yaw, which are the same thing for a simple rocket. Apogee had, or had, a product called RS Pro that does 6DOF, but they want $1000 for it. I wonder if they've ever sold one copy.

Yes, indeed you might, and rightly so. The shows people deride as "woke" today get that label because they have the reprehensible habit of taking on bigotry. With more forms of bigotry being prominently discussed today, shows which take on those issues are woke, and shows from yesteryear...

And quest. Since Aerotech bought them it's a thin difference, but the Q-Jets are marked an marketed as Quest.

Star Trek has been plenty woke since TOS. They sure did, but it was woke just to have black woman in the main cast, and with officer's rank no less. And a Japanese main character. Rod tried for a woman first officer, but that was too woke for the networks. (Ninjad)

Of course they are. Rockets are such a pain in the ass, if they weren't fun no one would build them.

What did you do rocket wise today?

At the thread list in the subforum of your choice, observe that there is a yellow bar with grey text that says "Thread title" or something close to that. Click or tap in there and start typing.

Whom are you quoting? I have to say, it doesn't ring true with me; killing kings may do either or both, case by case. Yeah, that was tragic and stupid. Dropping crates is dumb, not only because it's dangerous, but also because it lets Hamas get to the crates an keep them. If you want to feed...

Could you be more specific, please? What's disgusting? Schumer's sentiment, Schumer's willingness to say it publicly, my agreeing with him?

Insufficient information. The crust width is not given. The crust length could be computed, but it not relevant.

    Converting motor N-S to Joules

That's all true. My point has been that calculating it by starting with the impulse and using the average exhaust speed, g, and other stuff is the long way around, and is probably constrained to particular situations. Here's how the conversation should go: Coworker: Hey Les, we need to simulate...
