I have been watching Max Q's awesome Saturn 1b build in the scratch built section and his build has inspired me to take a shot at the Flis Kits Saturn 1b. I am attaching a link to MaxQ's build....its just awesome to watch a master at work and I highly recommend seeing what he is doing there...

so I had to put my beloved Basset Hound to sleep yesterday...:sad:....she had cancer and there was nothing we could do......the house just seems empty without her.... amazing how close a human being can become to a 4 legged animal....this dog probably heard more discussions on a Dr. Zooch Saturn...

I hope it is OK to post some pictures of my F-8 Crusader in 1/72 scale. The kit is by Academy and is a really nice kit in this scale. Of all the models I have made in my life, I have never made an F-8. I think she is a sweet looking bird! I hope you guys enjoy.

Of all of the awesome Dr. Zooch kits, the Zooch Lifting Body is one of my favorites....its just a gem! It is fun to build and even more fun to fly! What is really neat about this kit is that there is no official paint scheme.... I like to paint mine to look like fighter aircraft...for this one...

I hope its OK to post some pictures...but I built my first plastic model in probably close to 20 years. I always thought the F-105 was a cool looking plane so I decided to try the Trumpeter F-105D in 1/72 scale.

I am over in Europe with my son as I type this....I visited the Normandy Cemetery....there are almost 10,000 men buried there. I visited a cemetery in Caen where British and Canadian troops are buried...almost 4000 men rest there. its over whelming...to see all of these poor guys....God bless...
