    Greetings from Indiana

I'm another IRI member. In place of Thermalite, copper thermite is an option. It's best for bigger motors and clusters. It give an "instant on" once the button is pushed. You are welcome to attend our meetings as well if you want to pick our brains to help get you back up to speed in the hobby...

    LDRS 41 Official Information thread

Well, I found a way to get there without going though Chicago. It's a two hour longer drive, but may still be faster than just going through.

Reminiscing: How rocketry electronics have changed in 25 years!!

My first altimeter was a Transolve P5-K, if I remember correctly. After assembling it, I couldn't get it to work but after exchanging a few emails was told to send it in to him to take a look at it. Got it back a few weeks later with a note saying it was his fault. He got a bad batch of circuit...

Composite Warehouse 5" Bullpup or Concept 125 (54mm x 3) - Which one needs built first?

That thing was really moving! I was lucky to get as many shots as I did. It was a great day for a flight like that. Not very often there is almost zero wind in the Midwest this time of year!

    Sold Estes Astrocam for sale

I wasn't able to buy one at my local Target but on a whim, was down in Indianapolis and got one down there. I've come to realize, I'm most likely never going to fly it and would like to get it in the hands of someone that will. Add in that our refrigerator decided that it was a good time to...

    An "R"-powered rocket build

Glad to hear you're back Pat. Was thinking a while back I haven't heard your name mentioned for quite a while. Quite happy I made the decision to attend LDRS next year! Looking forward to seeing your motor fly along with the necessary evil attached to it! :-)

    Sorbitol for sale.

I bought a large bag of sorbitol a few years ago and haven't found the time to use it in that time, so it's time to sell some of it and get the shop cleaned up in the process. This was food grade sorbitol bought from Roundeye supply...
