    1/4A helicopter

What is a good time for 1/4A helicopter? During our regionals, I was able to achieve 20 to 29 second flights, which won, but I'm not sure it was because of a good time or not good competitive models.

    Estes - Leviathan (#9700) Gallery

My newest addition to my fleet. Added note: I flew this rocket on a G40-7 today (6/17/2012) for the first time. It didn't need the full seven seconds, but did all right.

WAC Corporal with Tiny Tim Booster

We have an Apollo Commemoration Event coming up in March and I was asked if I had any rockets from a list. I volunteered to make this one (from scratch) and one more. I had not built a two stage before. I hope it works. I was going to fly it tomorrow, but our sport launch was cancelled due to...

    Mid-school project

This is a cardstock rocket my mid-school elective class built. We launched it on a D12-5 with great success. It used a 12 inch parachute for recovery. The main tube was built using 17 inch cardstock double wrapped around pvc pipe, coupling two sections together. Their next project(s) is the...

    QCC Explorer (from NARAM-53)

I received this as a kit at NARAM-53. I don't do kits very often. It took lots of work but it seems to have been worth it. I'm please with the results. I didn't have any gray so I used a beige on the upper tube.

    B-boost glider

I'm new to boost gliding. I've made these two. The first one worked so well, it flew away to be never seen again by me. The second needs trimmed with some more nose weight, lots of porpoising. The left one was my first; the right, my second. One thing I did learn is that the nose cone on...

    V2 - my newest project

I've just finished making a custom built V2 that is approximately 10 inches long and I hope will fly with a B-motor. (1/57 scale)

    Multi-eggloft Challenge

At the annual spring eggloft event, they had a multi-eggloft challenge. You get to choose the motor up to a G. The scoring is calculated by multiplying the number of eggs by the time aloft in seconds. I did come up with a rocket that holds 4 eggs but could only come up with an F-motor. The...

Level 1 certification rocket from scratch

I wanted to build my level 1 certification rocket from scratch. I've been building from scratch almost from the beginning of my rocket adventures (year and a half). To begin, I took a section of 1.5" pvc pipe and formed my airframe by laminating three layers of 11 x 17 110 lb. card-stock. I...
