Finally had a chance to start working on this kit. The parts in this kit are top notch and the wraps are perfect.
Assembled the 4 cluster engine mount and the stuffer tube.
Just picked one of these up, looks really cool. :D

Thought I should share the linky.

Been working on this one off and on for awhile. Inspired by the Arapaho E. :D
18mm motors
BT55 air frame
22.5" long
Just waiting for a nice day to fly it.
.
I got inspired by lessgravity's thread Rocket Planes of the Third Reich
I don't see the EMW A6 having great gliding abilities so I'm building it as rocket with parachute recovery.
This is my 18mm version that should climb to 500' er so. Here are some build pics and a pic I found somewhere...
Well, I decided to host my own little Competition. :D
The winner will receive one Mach 10 Clone kit and one.... it's a secret. Tip: go read through the USS Northridge thread under scratch built for a hint.
Here's the deal kids, do a build thread on ANY MANUFACTURER'S kit in the Low Power...
A little side project I am working on using some ping pong balls and a couple of Dodecahedron's made from 67lb paper. The Dodecahedron's will be glued together on the BT50 tube and the PP balls will be cutout to fit around the BT55 tube (forward end) so we don't disturb the parachute...
My question is.... Can we use steel BB's for nose cone weight?
I'm working on a kit that has a plastic cone and would be easier to glue BB's into the cone rather than using clay.
I'll go with the clay if the rules do not allow this as I am all about following Da rules. ;)
Mods, I was...
I'm toying with the idea of cloning this...
I'm looking for some feed back on the large main sails. Does anyone see a problem with laser cutting them in one piece rather than in the original two piece configuration?
Plans: Alien Explorer

We are pleased to announce the release of our new Sonic Shark kit.
Featuring an open frame fin design. Product page
Note: This kit requires the builder to paper the fins. Supplies are included in the kit.

Ok BAR's, I need a little help with tracking down a few parts to make some clones.
Swivel hooks, are they #10's?
Payload sponge disks, are these really made of a sponge material?
Open to suggestions here.
Shrike jimz plans
Would anyone be interested in a BT80 Mosquito kit?
Plastic nose cone, TTW construction, 24mm motor mount, basswood fins...
Looking to see if it would be worth the time to kit a few of these.
I've been on a retro design kick lately and thought this could turn out to be a cool looking kit.
Building and tweaking the actual prototype right now. I'm not ready to take pictures of it yet so the rocksim image will have to do for the moment.
The main fins will have tip plates. Can't...
We have been given permission by Larry Brand to produce the Flatblack.
Larry designed this from scratch for an EMRR contest a few years back.
