    GUNS & ROCKETS

My dad and I have been collecting for years, dad way longer than me, so my collection is small right now, however I have been tempted to assemble my own parts kit and have a gunsmith assemble my first MSR. Rifles: I have an original (pre 2006 closure) Winchester stainless featherweight with a...

Any South Dakota folks in here?

Congrats on the club! I don't live there, but I've been to Hecla many times for pheasant hunts and always wanted to launch some big high altitude rocket with all that open space!

    GUNS & ROCKETS

A lot of things saved people in WWII, seen so many of those shot up Zippos. Wouldn't spend the money just on a story. That pistol would be better served in the NRA museum, they have a Smith and Wesson J frame (38 special I think) that was found under the World Trade Center and melted from 9/11...

    GUNS & ROCKETS

I go on to gun forums myself. There's one that there's several international members on. (Ich sehe Sie wohnen im Deutschland) been a few years since I took German, I hope that was coherent. Check out the forum Gun and Game, very welcoming forum, and I bet they would like looking at rocketry as well!

    I've never flown a D motor.

(gasps in absolute horror) NO, SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!!!!!!!!!!! No worries, I haven't either mainly due to a lack of space. Confined to a sizable football, soccer, and baseball field at my old elementary school. I have a pack of 3 D's, but largest I've shot have only been the good old C6's

    Sheri's Mercury Redstone

Glad to see that, I like the look of Sheri's large scale kits and would hate to see them go OOP. Looks like Red Arrow Hobbies is keeping the whole line up too!

    Estes starters?

Now that's funny right there :rofl: That would be my guess too. Perhaps shipping companies could have seen the word "igniter" and thought it could be pyro- related/hazardous to transport, and starters is just a benign term

Nice video, love how you can see the seasons changing in the background with those trees, beautiful footage! I've been hearing a lot lately that YouTube has just been a pain doing some sort of update with Google and uploads have been difficult. Love the patriot, that was my first one, it was a...

His flight card says only, “Level 4” …

His high altitude rocket sends images from intersteallar space back to voyager 2 and is still being powered by a single micromax motor

Estes Mean Machine (1295) - Discontinued?

Could the short launch rod be fixed by adding more sections onto it, like one or two more, or something that's used for the MPR and HPR rockets?

Estes Mean Machine (1295) - Discontinued?

Too true, the Estes that was at one time well known is no more.

Estes Mean Machine (1295) - Discontinued?

That would be great, and maybe some basswood or plywood for the fins to handle the larger motors. Lol, maybe there should be a pool on this

Estes Mean Machine (1295) - Discontinued?

Have to agree with JStarStar and shreadvector it's a popular kit and since they've developed their MPR motors, the could just being doing a redesign so that it can handle the MPR motors and keep it versatile with all of the high end LPR and the MPR engines
