    Xenomorph Host Transport Pod

Well, the rocket built/flight will be good. I doubt that my fleeting presence will add anything. :dancingelephant:

MDRA #158 not listed on NAR Site?

MDRA and Tripoli Maryland are two different entities. I seem to remember one launch that was run as Tripoli MD but they are generally run as indy under MDRA.. As mentioned above, both TRA and NAR certs are supported. Best to coordinate to make sure the proper witnesses will be there just to be...

    Lakeroadster's Lifting Rocket

Interesting, well engineered solution. I always just attached long pigtails to each igniter and then connected them below the rocket.

You can check with AMW and see if they still have a bunch of D11-Ps....

    Lakeroadster's Lifting Rocket

Oy, don't get me started. Well, lets do... You can epoxy a thrust ring on but can't put epoxy in the ejection cavity. If epoxying a plug in the ejection end of a -0 is bad, I'd think wadded up tape or anything else that really contains the blow through would also be considered a modification...

    Lakeroadster's Lifting Rocket

Stability is good but arcing over must be considered. Canting through the CP (or is it CG, I forget) helps but is not a guarantee as I've seen proven kits get squirrely when one motor doesn't go. As Rich recommends, I fly my odd designs from HPR pads even when they are technically MPR or even...

    Lakeroadster's Lifting Rocket

Yeehaw, finally a thread that awakened me from my slumber. :) I really love the design, especially the booster version! While daddyisabar is the king of these tractor motor rockets, I have built a few and will offer a few comments. 1. You are on the right track with your sims. The idea of a...

    Liberty Launch Systems status

After seeing another thread on this, I contacted Bob and he said they were still running but they changed servers. The website was build and run by a club member and the speed of getting up may depend on volunteer hours at this point (my thought, not his). He was at LDRS gathering material for...

Liberty Launch Sytems web site gone?

I let Bob know about the website. He did not indicate that the site or the magazine are defunct. He is at LDRS gathering material for a coming issue.

    Yahoo Email Down Nationwide.....

That it is. But I always find it comforting to hear a website owner/techie sees the problem and is on it. That's what I was trying to convey. YMMV.

    Yahoo Email Down Nationwide.....

The Flickr mod reports the problem has been resolved and Flickr has been stable for me. Hope y'all's email is working too.

    Yahoo Email Down Nationwide.....

This problem has been coming and going of Flickr too. When I last got in to the help forum, a Flickr/Yahoo moderator said they were aware of the problem that is affecting 'multiple properties'. Hope it is resolved soon.

Canted 3 engine 1/4A scratch build

I think the proper canting helps some but the misfired canted rocket is still more sensitive to other conditions (like wind). My Deuce has worked on one motor but has also pranged.

Looking for inspiration and maybe a kick in the pants!

John, I was not aware of your health issues, I will pray for your revovery. I would suggest the Higg Farm Square rocket. It is a limited distribution kit from New Way. I could take measurements from mine if you decide to go that way. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Rocketry Forum mobile app
