1/26th Scale Space Shuttle (full stack)

That's fair, I've recently been doing my own building, scaling and lightening of shuttles as I learn. As much as you plan and draw things there is never any way to avoid all of the gotchas that crop up when actually building something, or just the stupid mistakes:)

1/26th Scale Space Shuttle (full stack)

Are you considering doing a smaller scale model to fine tune the thrust line of the single tank mounted motor, or is the stack going to be light enough to try the simplest form of boost, just a single motor in the tank only before you add in complexity of off center srb thrust lines and...

Potential Full Fuse X-15 RC Rocket glider 4" kit

You are right, but in my case the F-24 and F-32 I normally use are 8-10 grams heavier so I wanted some margin for that even though they might have burned that off before rail exit I didnt want to risk pitchiness with 3x the boost speed when things happen fast. In any case now my weight and nose...

Potential Full Fuse X-15 RC Rocket glider 4" kit

No only the 2.6" version. The cones were custom made, I needed special boxes to fit the 4" tubing, dimensional shipping rate went up and shipping to get the 4" tubing was high. In the end the 2.6" was a better performing cheaper option.

    For Sale Aerotech RMS-24/40 E18 E28 F24 F39 Five Pack Bundle

Dangerous goods, not hazmat and with correct labeling which includes your specific authorization number, but you need a letter from the postmaster general stating you are allowed to ship them, and with the authorization number and expiration date, you need to request that if you have not done so.

Clone Crusader Swing Wing Introduction and gauge of interest for a kit

For my RC version it is much simpler to just use trim, zero risk of a pod hangup, and I fly where there are too many hazards to eject something plus I fly by myself often so cant watch two things, for free flight sure.

    1/37scale U.S. Shuttle rocket glider

Flew great, zero trim changes, did a roll on the maiden, my wife did the video, it's very hard to do with the small video screen....best glide on the first flight at 50 seconds, just shy of the Buran! I had to trim some out of other the videos but they were similar.

Aurora Clipper R/C rocket glider flights

Got to the website, then click on the instruction page link, then find your model, note I've done several versions with 2.6" tubing, 2" tubing and 1.6" tubing, the current one is 1.6" tubing, if that is not right there is a link to OOP instructions on the instruction page and you can scroll down...

    1/37scale U.S. Shuttle rocket glider

Ok, 6 oz now all framed up compared to 5.75 for the Buran. On a funny note I get in from the garage when working on these sanding and carving and it looks like I've been in a snowstorm...Did a quick balance and right now it's about 11.5 oz rtf estimated, vinyl will add some, looking promising.

Potential Full Fuse X-15 RC Rocket glider 4" kit

I revisited this 4" based model the other day, since one of my customers did some exerimenting with my 2.6" based kit to move the CG back from 5/8" to 1 3/4" back from the chine/wing junction, I was hoping I could scale it appropriately on this model which balanced at 1/2" back from the junction...
