You might consider soaking each assembled shroud with thin CA. This really strengthens the paper tremendously. When one does this, it precludes the need to double the shrouds, which adds unnecessary weight and complexity.

Allclad silvers are the best. Doesn't fingerprint like enamels and laquers out of a can. Must use an airbrush to apply. I then use the Pledge. Works great without the headaches.

I built 3 Mini-Bomarcs, a Wolverine, and a Star Blazer. The Bomarc remains my favorite Mini-Brute in case you weren't sure!🙄

Bob Smith is the best CA I've used. I keep it in the fridge until ready to use.

I'm using 2x 36" chutes for mine, and they kick out every time. I use AT single use G80-4 or G79-4, usually. No worries.

The G80-4 was perfect for my NCR Bomarc which is built fairly heavy. Don't want to Level 1 to use H's.

I'd like to know why there are no more G80-4's. Indeed, any SU G80. Are the G79,78,77's just as good?
