I Its my 43 year old Big Bertha, and it’s a MESS!! It’s been a great rocket and God only knows how many flights it’s had so I’m going to restore it somehow!! The other BB is a new one I built using left over parts and materials.....FUN FUN FUN!!

It lawndarted some years ago! I recently found the nose and figured what the heck! Sandra at Estes was a huge help with a new body tube!! I made motor mount centering rings from some old light ply I had laying around!! Just gotta add a coupla launch lugs and start prepping her for paint!!

Just got the kit and I would really like it to go a bit higher than 400 feet........what might you great folks suggest? id be happy with 700 to 900 feet! 24mm motor?? Is there an 18mm motor with a little more punch, but not like a ballistic missile? Im probably asking a lot!:):D THANKS!!

I finished the Alpha about a month ago.....Finished the Astro 1 about an hour ago! Built em both when I was a kid.....both of em are such great platforms for novice or “older” rocketeers. I just love building and launching stuff I did as a kid!
