    Centuri 1/2A4-5M

I'm wondering if anyone has any specs on these old motors such as possibly a thrust curve sheet? I've googled around and come up with nadda. Thanks.

    NSL 2015

Is there a web-site up for NSL 2015? I know it will be held in Orangeburg, SC this year Memorial Weekend. Would be nice to get info for hotels, vendors, range fees, etc now to make plans.

    Quest FLV

I just picked up this kit and it's begging to have those SRB's made into drop-off boosters. Since they are so small, does anyone have any suggestions for the attachment/unattachment of those small tubes to the main body tube? Also, a concern I have is the fins are mounted to the SRBs and when...

    Rocketlady's TRF Logo Rocket

Here is my version of the TRF logo rocket. It is made of paper transitions, cones and tubes to achieve the desired shape. The fins and centering rings are made of presentation poster board. Stability was achieved using modeling clay to fill the nose cone. So far, it has flown on an A8-3 for a...

    UBolts vs EyeBolts

I prefer U-bolts in my larger rockets. Using the eye-bolt is fine, however, they can be a failure point. I've seen rockets (even an L3 attempt) fail due to the rocket spinning and the eye-bolt unscrewing itself from the nut.

    TLP Indigo Build

I have this kit and built it stock some years ago. It is very lightweight, but not light enough for a D12. It's one of those models that should be flown in no wind conditions as even a light breeze will knock it off course once it leaves the rod. I was just starting into the hobby when I...

    suggested filler material?

I've used finishing epoxy painted on with a foam brush to seal the wood with a light sanding to smooth.

    Finishing papered fins?

I've see the recent threads about papering fins. So now, how do you all finish your papered fins? For lack of a proper printer to print decals, I printed on regular paper and glued on the decal. Now how to protect it as it is not being painted? Will spraying (lightly) with several coats crystal...

how do you justify this hobby with your spouse?

Like Verna said, try to get her involved even if it's only taking photos. I know some women just aren't interested at all and there's nothing you can do. Or just sit around the house and don't do anything or get in her way until she tells you to find something to do. Grab the rockets and go...

    Square rocket!

Cut four triangles and glued them into a pyramid shape then added a square coupler for the shoulder. ... It's all in the kit instructions...
