    Any Wishbone Ash Fans Here?

Huh. I haven't thought about them since around '75. Long ago and far away. Glad they put on a good show.

    Estes Payload Rocket Suggestions

I notice erockets also has the Estes/Semroc Ranger and Scrambler up as well. What with the Egg Crate (a real nice build) and the other two mentioned, you'd have enough umph to lift the metal car.

    Estes Building.

I ran across it by accident in '08 while riding the bicycle across country. I was heading for Canon City and thought I recognized that building with the rocket out front. Got off and checked things out, but there was nothing to see and no one about as it was a Sunday. Took a couple of photos...

    The Understated Estes Alpha.

Alpha. The little classic that flies as well as anything before or since. Great flights on small motors. The essence of the hobby.

    This isn't good.

I've gone out of my way, all of my life, to avoid being finger-printed. Then one day I got this job and the first thing they did was make me give finger-prints.

    Space Art

I really dig the old space art myself. Whenever I see a good example, I'll glom it into a folder I have on my machine just for "Retro Rockets." Tried to emulate it on two occasions:

    Where's the parts?

That ain't gonna happen. Substitute eRockets when thinking of Semroc? Heh. Good one. Yes, I'll purchase Semroc products at eRockets (gladly and thankfully)—but there is no substitute. What eRockets may not have, can sometimes be found at Uncle Mike's Rocket Shack (UMRS) or Balsa Machining...

    Musical Genius!

Went to a Zappa show (Dion, of all people, opened for them), afterwards we went to a Denny's or some such place and Frank and some of the band were there. He caught me looking and stuck his tongue out at me. My only celebrity sighting. Oddly, Gary, I've been a Zappa/Mothers fan since high...

The last of the new builds

Real nice. Scotty's mention of the color is spot on. My Buck Rogers Venus Duo-Destroyer sports the same combo, as well as the Intergalactic Commuter in my avatar. Nice work.

Another one rolls off the bench

Very nice. Must have been fun to concoct and build. I dare say it should get some attention when you launch it. Pics please.

Can a bad bat become a new rocket?

Off topic here, but please get that young'un a proper, wood bat. It's baseball.

    Rolling Out The Winter Builds

Heck Gary, I don't know if I'd even mess with it. It gives it a "used machinery" kind of look—like weathering/oil spray. You get what I'm trying to say. I think it's a happy accident.

    Rolling Out The Winter Builds

Good looking rockets, Gary. You've had a productive Winter. Oh, and nice paint on all of them. Very cool. Pics from the launches?
