Thoughts on the middle east conflicts.

Supposedly Israel has a plan to evacuate civilians in advance of the Rafa invasion that will be shared with the US. I think that is a political maneuver by N which is a shrewd one. Either the US admin has to accept it or reject it publicly.

OK music lovers! Help me out - I need some classical music. BUT...

For tearing the house down I have this one.

Thoughts on the middle east conflicts.

Senator Schumer's speech was meant for domestic consumption mostly to shore up the party's splitting base for November. Sterner messages from the admin have already been passed to the Israeli gov't. If the target was Israeli citizens then that is definitely meddling in their democracy. But he...

    What are you listening to?

There is a thread on the Steve Hoffman forum on When We.. mentioning the heavy bass, many owners of the 'consumer' tables complaining about distortion when actually its because the cartridges can't track the bass. The vinyl version appears to get good ratings except for a glow in the dark vinyl...

    Converting motor N-S to Joules

Well if our rocket eventually hits the ground and stops then all the KE gets turned back into heat. But if orbit is achieved then KE is preserved and less rocket motor energy gets converted to heat right? It has to be... :)

    Converting motor N-S to Joules

I forgot much of my physics and kinetics, but bear me out on this question. On a test stand the rocket motor does no work, so all of its potential energy goes into heat. Let the motor fly and some kinetic energy is produced. Does that mean a flying motor heats the world less than a test stand...

When is the Starship orbital launch?

Like our hobby stuff, Up part is easier.

Already thinking about mods to my cheapo US cleaner. * The records turns too fast (2 rpm). If there is flow on the surface that tends to work against the cavitation. Its a dc motor so maybe I'll try a 5v wall wort or get a cheapo chopper motor controller. Or use an arduino to on off the...

My physics is rusty but I remember that electrostatic behavior is very un-intuitive.

The conductivity of the mat won't help with the charge on the playing side of the LP. Grounding one plate of a capacitor doesn't discharge it. Perhaps I am totally wrong. Let us know what happens.

One thing i noticed is after cleaning there is no static on the LP after playing. I think the minute trace of Triton X-100 has something to do with that. The effect may not last that long but we will see.

Thoughts and Comments on Current Russian,Ukrainian Conflict/War

Yep, and its probably not going to get better. UK, Germany, Poland, Finland, might want to start arming up.

Verdict is in on the Vevor 6L US Cleaner Best purchase I made in a long time! For a test I had a MFSL Alan Parson's I Robot LP I haven't l played in about 20 years. It had a lot of scratches and pops, which surprised me as I thought I took good care of my LP's. I unboxed the cleaner, mixed...

    Good HTPB hardeners

Agreed, missed that. What would be a dynamic use case for hybrid rocket motor? Tribrid?

    Come on, Boeing.

Agree. But that is built into the control plans as part of the FMEA (which I think might be a deliverable for air worthiness certification). Root cause failures that result in a passenger's infotainment system not working will have less costly control plan actions than root causes that result...
