Using a Cricut for rocketry projects

So I just wonder what the last version was that would load the cricut plugin. The fact that they sued others and disabled use of their hardware with other programs is not really a killer for me. My wife will be using it more than I. I'll probably be purchasing one next week.

Using a Cricut for rocketry projects

My wife and I are going to be purchasing a Cricut Explore Air. I'd like to know if anyone has used one of these to do any rocketry related projects (transitions, fins, wraps, etc.).

What did you do rocket wise today?

Today I made wishes that I had a place to build rockets. However, it's been a couple years since I have flown one. I sure miss it.

Another one rolls off the bench

I like it. Great job. I especially like the color choices. I have always liked that shade of grey and the red stands out well. Do you plan on sharing plans or did you build it on the fly?

    Rocket and supplies storage

Well I got 5 out of 6 sections insulated in my building. I left the doors and windows shut all day today and this eve. went in and took a reading. It was 140F on the uninsulated part and 110F on the insulation. The other areas were roughly the same or 5 to 10F less. I think with a vent in the...

    Rocket and supplies storage

This may pose a problem then. I may have to make space in my bedroom for the larger rockets and put up with my wife's complaints until I get a means to control temps in the building. I didn't think about this. However, I do have my tubes in a tall box to keep them all in one space. Thanks.

    Rocket and supplies storage

I don't plan on storing my motors in the heat. I have those and my adhesives inside. I have a few of those sterlite totes and cardboard boxes with all my rockets in them. I also have some that are too large for a box. I live in NW Louisiana and the temps will get around 100F in the summer and...

    Rocket and supplies storage

I need to store my rockets and related supplies. This is due to moving and limited space. I have a 12x24 steel storage building and it is perfect. However, my concern is the heat. I have in excess of 200 built and many unbuilt kits. I also have a large amount of other rocketry related things...

    Sanding pads

Thanks. Forgot about trying Horrible Freight. When I bought these at walmart, which was about 2 years ago...maybe longer, I paid about $2 for them in a 2-pack.

    Sanding pads

I used to buy sanding pads from walmart that were about 4" x 6" and were 150 grit. These were also 1/4" thick and were easy to bend without the rough surface cracking. I forget the brand but am very sure they were a walmart 'exclusive'. Probably the Mainstays line. Where is a good place to...
