Just completed. I have to do some doctoring on the fin roll pattern as I was to lazy to mask off, and instead attempted hand brushing it. A fine brush and semi-steady hand should resolve any flaws....at least that I can live with. This was meant to fly, rather than being a static display...

This was my first taste of the TLP kits. Now that I'm familiar with the process and quality, I'll take some others in time. Toward the end of the build, I was getting to that stage of wanting to see a final product. The hardcore military fans will note several out of scale and accuracy...

Although the stock paint scheme for the Leviathan is the best, I didn't have the patience trying to duplicate the process. As with most of my random paint schemes, I always revert to simple. It hasn't flown yet. Thanks for the interest.

Save for a few dot decals, I'm callin this one complete. Built over last winter, and just complted a few mins ago.

This could be considered "Mid-power", and I'm sure some are, but D-E size propellant seem just fine. The kit is about 2/3 complete. The harder details of building the fins are complete. This is genuinely a pleasure to build....not necessarily difficult, but certainly time consuming for...

As with all my 2 stage kits; they become single stage. So is the case with my Hyperbat. I flipped over the bottom fins for a more aggressive appearance, and raised the upper fins 4-5" Hasn't flown yet, but an A8 should do just fine for recovery.

The wife chose this one as my current build. The rough draft is complete, now the fun begins.....masking a cord of balsa to prep and paint. Fun to build. This is one you'll want to test fit as you build, and it's a good idea to proof read the instructions, and sub-assemble as you go.
