As someone mentioned above, NAR headquarters is having issues with phone lines.
Please send your question to me at [email protected]. Or, if you prefer, you can contact John Hochheimer at [email protected].
Thanks,
Carol Marple
Good evening,
Early registration closed about a week ago, but you can register on-site/at the field beginning Saturday morning. I can't recall the cost for on-site registration.
It will likely be a little more crowded than your local club launch. There will be a designated parking area where...

Brian Guzek is the NARAM 61 contest director. His contact info is on the N61 website, but his email is [email protected].
Or, you can also email me at [email protected], and I can pass along your questions.
Thanks,
Carol Marple
I'm a female. I've been involved in rocketry since 2005, so not as long as many of you but still quite a while. I'm L2 certified, and I'm pretty involved at the local and national levels.
Every female I know who is involved in rocketry is here because we enjoy it, not because of how we look...
Douglas Kirk was also there and taking a lot of photos. He mentioned that he's a newspaper publisher (photojournalist?) in Texas. I forgot to ask if he's on TRF or not...
Here's a link to a few of the photos I've taken. I'll be adding more over the next few days. (Although this is a Facebook photo album, you don't need to have a FB account to view the photos as long as you have the link below.)...
Hi Ken,
Have you checked with Tim Young at Rocket Technologies, by any chance? I'm pretty sure he's a NAR member. He's in Grand Forks (I know that's still a few hours from you, but it's one more option). Here's his contact info in case you need it...
Yes, Bruce is Carl and Sheryl's son. He's the VP of the company, and as wonderful as his parents. They are truly some of my favorite people in this world.
Jim Flis is helping Sheryl with the expired domain. According to Jim's posts, the paperwork has been submitted but it takes a few days for it to be processed.
NARAM is a lot of fun, and the Hudson Ranch site in Pueblo is fabulous. I've attended two NAR events there, including NARAM in 2010 and NSL in 2013 (I'll also be at NARAM 56). It is a PERFECT site for a cert flight.
Here's a link to some photos I took during NSL 2013. Two of my fellow club...
Hmmm... I just looked and couldn't find it, either. Sheryl posted on YORF that she's going to transfer the Paypal donations she's received to the church. She also said it would probably be better to send donations to Radiant Church since they have a fund set up.
I just emailed the church...
According to the Radiant Church FB page, their website address is: https://liveradiant.org
(If you're FB friends with Bruce, this is the church that recently posted a message regarding Bruce's condition, so it's definitely the correct church.)
Congratulations to your daughter! She did a fantastic job!
As a female who is involved in rocketry, I know how important, and sometimes difficult, it is to get support and encouragement.
I've talked to Jim Flis and offered to donate a 2nd place prize for your daughter. The prize...
Jim,
I coached Lego robotics/FIRST LEGO League for about 10 years. I've also been a referee and teamwork judge for a little longer than that. It's one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had. The kids continually amazed me... I loved seeing the excitement in their faces when they...
Agreed! I wasn't able to arrive until Tuesday evening, but I made sure I arrived in time to attend the auction. Tom does a great job as emcee/auctioneer/NAR stand-up comedian!
I hope you and Kathy have a safe trip home!
