    Who builds Trash Rockets?

Here are a few of mine. All of the materials are recycled. NCs are Easter eggs or kid toys; BTs are hand-rolled or of the paper towel or mailing tube variety.

"Der Zwie-Dekker Max" from Sport Rocketry Magazine

I built a two-stage BT-55 downscale of the Red Max a few years ago. It flies like a champion. And don't worry about nose weight -- it doesn't need any.

Of "D" engines and launch lugs.

Don't buy larger lugs. Just wrap a drinking straw in masking tape and you're good to go.

    Sentinel clone - decal resources?

If you really want to go inexpensive, just print the decals yourself on Avery label paper. Because the rocket is white, this method works well whether you use clear or white label paper. I used clear label paper for my BT-50 downscale and was happy with it.

what material do you use to make center rings?

I print my CRs on regular copy paper and use a glue stick to attach them to cereal box cardboard or cardstock depending on the diameter of the BT. Works great even for 24mm RMS.

    Scratch Centuri Red Eye

I put together some pieces of junk to make a goony-esque version of the Centuri Red Eye. I've been kicking around some options for decals and will hopefully settle on something soon.

Estes - Der Red Max (KC-2 or #0651) Gallery

I came into possession of a beat up Quark kit and decided to turn it into a Mini Mini Max. I just need to figure out what to do for decals now. :D

    Not so Mini Max!

I made a scratch one before Estes released theirs. I've flown it on C6-7s several times and it flies great.

    Mini Max - 18mm?

I scratch built a Mini max before they released the kit. It has an 18mm MMT and no nose weight. It flies like a champion on a C6-7 but you'll want to make sure you have a large launch area and several sets of good eyes. :D

    Terrier-Orion

I built one stock and flew it several times. It frustrated me each time because the flights were hardly stable -- it corkscrewed badly for me. I decided to convert it to a 2-stager, the only modification being an 18mm MMT in the sustainer. As I recall, the gap is 8-9 inches and it staged and...

    S.C.R.A.M. clone and upscales

I built a BT-60 upscale of this one a few years ago. It has a 24mm MMT and flies great on D12s -- always very popular. Maybe I should put a decal of some sort on it. :D

I always liked this one and built a BT-50 downscale a few years ago.

    DER Red MAX

This is my scratch BT-55 downscale two-stage Red Max. It flies like a champion.

    Estes - Micron (#0876) Gallery

This is my BT-60 upscale of the Micron, which I affectionately referred to as the Macron. I put a 24mm MMT in it and it flew like a champion. It was also one of my first attempts to make a decal out of Avery clear label paper.
