    Arduino powered rocket computers?

Cool I'll look at that, thanks. Been wanting to try my hand at PCB making so this might be a good start. I'll post here when I do anything though school is about to start up Just wondering, is the soldering on an Arduino micro or similar boars good enough to hold up for the larger rockets? Have...

    Arduino powered rocket computers?

I see what you mean I just saw the first post with the micro and a bread board(was still reading through at the time of posting, whoops). I was thinking of one that did a little more than an altimeter though, more of a plug and play type. It could also have flight data recording, in-air start...

    Arduino powered rocket computers?

Thanks for the links, I guess I didn't clarify. I was really talking about a product made for rocketry, not really if it's been used.

    Arduino powered rocket computers?

I was wondering if there was any Arduino powered rocket computers out there. Was thinking of making one if not. I would think even the atmega 328 could handle most of what's needed. I was thinking of making a cheap and easy to use (yet fairly capable) board so even casual rocketry enthusiasts...

    Mystery rocket

It's taller than the Rubicon. Actually astrowolf67, that looks almost exactly like it! just the fins are a right triangle instead of the diamond. Now who knows the best way to hook up multiple B-D size motors (mostly 3-4, up to7), and what launch system I would need. links would help also...

    Mystery rocket

That's not it, my rocket has 6 fins slightly larger in relitive size to the saturn 1 fins, the 7 tubes don't exceed the diamiter if the tube above, and the uper quarter or third is smaller, like an upper stage.

    Mystery rocket

It took off just fine with two D's. Actually, let me tell you what happened. We (the rocketry team) only had 2 D's and we had to get another D from the school next to us at the competition, when we launched it it went ~250-300 feet, then corkscrewed and (amazingly) deployed the chute right...

    Mystery rocket

yes, I was only saying that that would be the maximum, we would only use 3 C's or 2 B and a D for the center
