    Estes E9-P problems

I saw the same guy CATO two E9 a while back. Both times he put a white D-12 type plug in the nozzle instead of the correct black plug for the smaller D9 nozzle. It was a shame I didn't catch it until after the second launch. Both nozzles were found with the white plug and igniter wires.

    PML Quantum Tube experiences

Great data = that explains why my nose cone always fits fine but I need to add/remove masking tape to my phenolic ebay depending on the weather/temperature. It is tough stuff. However, quantum can be squeezed a bit compared to stiff "paper" phenolic tubing. Quantum tube is easy to cut and...

10-4 good buddy. but... I have to say it all depends on LPR-MPR-HPR. I agree with HPR there should never be (just) a broken fin on "recovery" (I think you know what I'm getting at = big nuke). And honestly, Ben, You're lucky to get one flight off in a day, I'll pay good money(not that...

    Copperhead Replacements

Ever since I chuffed my F14 just enough to get it off the rod, then 20' in the air and back into the ground with an 18mm D13; I always place the copper head igniter in the grain first before I load it. This guarantees that it's placed at the top of the grain, and also I don't have to worry...

Glad to be back. (Problems registering?

I'm actually glad we had to re-register. This newbie tried to register for the first time back in November and royally screwed it up. I must have got my *.com and *.net emails mixed up I think, or perhaps I was being cleaver (or lazy) and copied the wrong email when I was supposed to verify...:p
