Would anyone happen to have a scale package for Saturn V SA 506 (Apollo 11) that would be suitable for Sport Scale competition? I know there is a CD available from NAR for $20 but was wondering if someone had some basic printed plans/photos kicking around that they no longer have a use for....

Thanks for the update! I'm glad to hear that something is actually happening. I need to connect again with my local team (UVictoria) to see what they're up to. Meetings have all been via zoom lately and I'm zoomed out. I hope they get the launch site, and Aug 1- 6 work out. Keep us posted!

Well, another year has passed, and nothing much happening... I see that someone with Canada Launch Challenge tested a liquid rocket motor back in October. Meanwhile, Spaceport America Cup 2022 has 13 Canadian University teams among the 150 or so from around the world. Probably around 1700...

Picked up some rocket motors locally, (flight pack and FSI E60's from the 1980's) and the guy threw in some R/C airplane stuff. Probably also from the 1980's. A Vari-Pulse power panel and a Head Lock glo plug connector. Both brand new, in packaging, never opened, probably bought in 1980. If...

Looks like a good location. I'm heading to Edmonton July 16, 17 for a launch/contest there. Hard to find a spot on Vancouver Island. I think Midpower madness had a launch area in Langford, but I think he lost that last year.

They are in the bag with the nozzles and the launch towers. Neither that bag nor the parachute bag look like they have ever been opened. I wonder how "fresh" that glue is!

Wraps also feel a little flimsier than modern ones.

I did not open the parachute package, nor the nozzle/tower package. It still has that 1970's air in there. Note the inclusion of contact cement for the wraps.
