    Torchwood

Torchwood - the new spin off from Dr Who started on tv tonight, and it was seriously good. Much more adult than normal Who, but takes place in the same whoniverse. High paced, reasonable scripts and good budget make for some good telly. Well worth watching. :D

Dr Who - Love & Monsters

Warning - possible spoilers ahead! So .... opinions on last night's Dr Who ep, Love & Monsters. A drastic departure from the normal Who By Numbers format. No doubt this ep will be viewed as this series' 'weak' episode. However, I found it thoroughly entertaining; from the Scooby Doo in &...

So the Football (Soccer to some of our former colonies) World Cup is about to start in Germany. This week's Dr Who - The Werewolf one

Fantastic ep, eh? Excelent story, brillient acting, confirmation that the Dr likes good music, and just the right mix of horror and humour. Hope this standard is kept up! BTW: Going back to see a legendary punk gig has always been one of my top personal uses for a Tardis! ;)

    Next Week's Dr Who

Just seen the trailer for next week's Dr Who ep, School reunion. K9 and Sarah Jane Smith are both in it, this much we know; but I don't think it was any coinsidence that the last scene of the trailier had the 'headmaster' stood next to his office door with only the letters M-A-S-T-E-R showing...
