Regardless of where math landed in the 70's vs now, I don't think anybody actually had to do trig calculations with that device. Sure looks like you're comparing readings to a chart/analog computer to get the resulting altitude.

I can't find .eng file in open rocket.

Just add your own custom directory for the eng files. For example, create one in your Documents folder labelled ENGfiles, and add the folder to Open Rocket from the screen in your first screenshot. Dump the .eng file you're working with today and any new ones down the road into that folder.

What I did today -instead- of Rocketry.

There are plenty of opportunities for chaos and mayhem while descending on a road. Tight turns with sharp dropoffs, oncoming traffic, you name it.

Brush fire in Palm Bay’s ‘Compound’ was accidental, caused by rocketry enthusiasts, officials say

'I agree' and 'that's 100% what happened' are very, very different.

Brush fire in Palm Bay’s ‘Compound’ was accidental, caused by rocketry enthusiasts, officials say

Sorry - you know something, or you're just making a wild guess and announcing it as '100% what happened'?
