A lot of good advice here Loc IV and DMS H100 was my choice and worked well. Build your rocket strong with good epoxy and you can use same rocket for L2. I did L2 with a DMS J425R. My advice if you have room in your budget buy and use a chute release. As always talk to your senior club members...

Looking at the special 38 mm forward closer for the end burning motors there is a approximately 1" dia male threaded portion on the front of the forward closer. can anyone tell me the purrpose?

Just checked Jolly Logic website - everything in stock except Altimeter 3 and that has been out of stock for a long time. So how is it that he can keep everything in stock EXCEPT the Altimeter 3 ? Seems to be a secret.
