After they laps its big bucks to get them back. So be a lot cheaper to go with Starlight rocketry.net or Starlight models. When I get the web site up then we can announce it. Rebuilding the infrastructure IE parts and equipment at this time.
After a decade long break Starlight slowly reawakens. Thanks Uncle Mike for keeping the spark lit. It wont be a overnight thing as there's lots of parts to the puzzle to put together so to speak. Parts, equipment website and so forth.
I dont watch the news enough to know the whole story as I am over most of it. But the renters are covered but how about the land lords? Are they getting reimbursed or will we see a spike in foreclosures??
I was there last time. Hotter then all get out. But other then that not a bad place at all. A bonus is my brother lives only a couple hours away. With LDRS way out in Oregon that ones to far for me. May have to visit my brother again.
Some people like pong rockets some dont. Some like sci fi kits some dont.
I have first hand knowledge of the sales numbers if this kit. Evidently thousands of rocketeers liked it.. To each there own LOL
I have seen L motors with masking tape thrust rings. With no problems. I have flown up to Ks with it.
BTW the stock Big Max flys great on AT Econojet motors. F27R are my fave. Hey Red max with a red flame. And the AT motors have a built in ring if you still dont trust the tape idea.
My little shop has been selling a good amount of the Q jets especially the Cs and Ds. 24mm Q jets due to arrive Tuesday. I expect them to be popular also
There is a chance a part of it may eventually come back. But not to the size it grew to.thats a ways down the road. But i have parts and such to make some up
I have flown 30 year old AP motors successfully. Just double check the ejection charge. In the last year I tried some BP FSI engines with much less success.
