    Club expectations...

How am I supposed to know your biography and history? I'm just trying to help others. Sorry, I didn't know who you were. Congratulations on being a TAP. That is quite an accomplishment! Thank you for your contributions to our hobby!

    Estes Honest John #2166 question

Or you could get a job that fully supports your interests to where you don't have to make a profit off your fellow rocketeers. So there's that.

    Estes Honest John #2166 question

Why have a model and save it to sell to someone for a profit?? Amaze your friends by flying this model at a launch. Note, I modified mine even if it goes against the purests. 29mm mount

    I’m giving myself a headache.

Over the years I have seen more damage of rockets from handling, travelling, and storing than catastrophic failures in flight.

    Club expectations...

You only need a TAP if you are trying for level three. Any club prefect can, alone, certify fliers for level one and level two anytime.

Tripoli Houston is a great club. Launching in Hearne is from concrete runways and taxiways at Hearne Municipal Airport. So burn bans don't apply and we normally can fly sparkies. 2nd Saturday each month.

Is it really a model rocket if you don't launch it?

It's just a model of a rocket unless it flies at least once. Then it is a rocket. I fly everything at least once. So far my 1972 original Honest John on a H128 And my original Estes Sidewinder from the 70's on an Estes D12. Both flights went great. I may or not fly them again.

What did you do rocket wise today?

Just finishing up a WildMan 4" Goblin. All complete except a little more sanding on the exterior filets and ready for primer Got the decal package from Mark at Stickershock. Instead of painting it yellow like so many, I'm going with fluorescent green.

Gary Rosenfield, is this per grain weight limit change going to make further high power RMS motors available without HazMat fees? Are there RMS motor reload kits that due to the change will now ship HazMat free because the seperate grain weight is <62.5 g each. Has Aerotech looked at...
