About equal I think, although the kids have more energy to run and catch the rockets before they hit the ground. I'm just happy they hit the ground and not a tree or roof :-)

Thanks! That's an original. I was between kits and had some spare parts laying around and came up with that. It's a fun one, uses two small parachutes for recovery, one black and the other orange.

Thanks! I'm going to try and get better video of it next launch. There are 3 parachute men in it that come down separately from the rocket itself. That's where the name comes from, it "injects" the parachuting commandos :-)

We were talking about this on the Estes Rocketeers FB page. Word is that their long-time customer service person just passed away a few days ago, so they have had a lot to deal with.

YES!!!

Built a Semrock Orbital Transport, fulfilling a childhood pledge. Tried building the estes version of this when I was 13 and totally messed it up. Swore to my 13 year old self if I ever got the chance again to build one I would. One promise down, a few more to go!

I did those on a build and I used part of a toilet paper roll cut to size and mounted inside to fortify the body tube walls. Also helped to give a little more strength to the fin attachment.
