Maybe...but it could be a butchery...this thing is sooooo tiny. There is a cardstock joiner under the seam. It would be tough to cut without crushing the model. I think I may just go for the rear ejection. I have a 13mm Terrapin whose finned upper section is stable after ejection (duh...

Good idea for dealing with the nose, thanks. Actually the Revell model was pre-Sputnik. There was also a UK version without the US flags. It had red swooshes on the wings.

For the PMCer they have the Revell Snark missile (also seen in the stores). It's a reissue of an old kit from the 50s (?). Scale is around 1:87. Also saw an X-wing and a Shuttle and on the website. I don't build plastic anymore, just like to look at the boxes. :eyeroll:

Forgot to mention -- the version that Bob shows above should have less stability problems than the versions like the Mars rover with the wider payload shroud on the nose.
