I think Oscar is allowed to use a sparky motor, as long as he is with his mentor when he launches it. My club mentor gave me the thumbs up to launch a J, and said that the motors a Junior can fly are limited to whay the mentor can fly. That is a really tall rocket! Should be very stable. Good...

This rocket is so big, that if you launch it, it'll have to have a seperate "Launch Thread"!

I have never taped my shock cords. Does it help that much that I should?

Yay, we had a successful launch yesterday and I got my l1! There was a little wind and the rocket flew over the fence into the bushes, but thanks to my mentor we had a tracker! It helped a lot.

Next saturday I try again. So far weather looks good.

Soo, I won't be able to fly J motors for a few years(junior) so what are the larger kits that y'all recommend that I can make without electronics and can fly on L1 motors?
