    Rcktnut, thanks for the info. I'm glad to hear that the supplied shock cord and chute will work just fine. This is my first big rocket build and i plan on attempting to get my L1 cert with it.

    Thanks AfterBurners, what size chute did you move up to ? Did you buy the 2 loop or 3 loop?

    Replace the elastic shock cord with the nylon. There's not much room for 15-20 ft of cord.

    Once again thanks everyone for all the advice and recommendations. The reason they didn't lead to more questions is due to meeting local club members and using them as mentors. I plan on attending my second launch date on 4-13-19 and asking lots of questions about rockets that peak my interest .

    Nice builds, at the local launches i'll be attending i have to watch the weight and ceiling height. I do plan on building a 4" rocket when I'm ready for L1 certification. I'm fortunate to live close to a LUNAR club launch area.
