During a vNARCON I ask J Barrowman where the 1 caliber comes from and I think he said its just what people have used....I dont rely on it alone.

I use a piece of heat shrink tubing near the motor end on my kevlar shock lines.....never had an issue

Have you filled out the NAR forms online for an engine malfunction / CATO? Have you notified Estes?...they may compensate you for the motors and or models in the case of a CATO. It would seem that Estes would also be interested in your x-rays of motors.
