I did look actually. I found a lot of low and mid power sr-71 rockets, particularly Estes, but I’m struggling to find plans on the high power fiberglass one.

Another option: https://www.ebay.com/itm/292371528908 1/4" thick Garolite is plenty strong and stiff for most applications. Not lightweight or easy to cut through. I've used that exact link before though.

It is indeed quite terrifying to spin a 12" cutter at 300 RPM, 1" from the feed handle. It has been known to send my assistants fleeing for cover at the sight of it starting up - I won't be sad to step down to a smaller size. Thanks for the recommendation.

Have you flown this design before? I'd love to see a photo of the apogee design assembled if that's the case. I'm familiar with the more typical 3 piece plastic version.
