Your thoughts and opinions on UPS strike

Unions and strikes never did anything good for my family. When you can't work because of a strike and you need to put food on the table, well, you get the idea. Why people think they need a Union is beyond me. It's such an old school way of thinking.

    Rocket finder .. beepers?

Hmm. Maybe I do have duds. I've pushed and held that button for varying lengths of time based on the instructions and...nothing.

    Rocket finder .. beepers?

I must be doing something wrong. I wired up a pigtail (black/red). I plug the battery in and a red power light comes on. I disconnect the battery to trigger the siren but nothing happens. I have two of them and they both have the same result, so I am sure it is something I am doing...or not doing.

Custom Rockets Dynamic Carrier 2x and 1/2 Scale

After building the 1:1 version, which is about 24" tall, a 2x upscale build was in order. As I was finishing up the 2x I recall a much smaller nose cone in my parts box, so a 1/2 downscale was born. The decals are all hand cut from vinyl that I picked up at the Dollar Tree. Primer is Rust-Oleum...

    Ultrasonic Cleaner for Motor /Closures

I drop mine in a jar of white vinegar and let them soak overnight. Then I use a tooth brush and dish soap to clean them up and rinse off with water. Easy peasy.

Strong, lightweight material to patch LARGE hole in balsa?

Build a dam on each side with painters tape. Then spoon in some baking soda, filling it about 1/3 of the way. Tap the fuselage on the desk to settle the baking soda. Then drop in thin CA until saturated. How much is that? You'll know it when you see it. Repeat for the remaining 2/3. Peel off the...

    Ignitor Clip Alternative

Interesting! I'd be curious to see photos after several launches to see how they hold up to exhaust...low, mid and high power. Crusty clips are a pain!

    Getting epoxy in tight places

I use the pocket method. No fuss no muss...and no hassle with syringes. I cut balsa pieces, birch, popsicle sticks. Doesn't matter really. You just need something to hold the adhesive until it cures. They aren't really for structure, but they can be if needed.

But you can use a metal one with a plastic handle forged by coal and petroleum. 😂

    Coal as an Energy Source

The case can be made by just about anyone about almost anything being bad for the earth. It's an argument that has been going on for quite some time. Save the whales! 😁

    Coal as an Energy Source

I grew up in WV with coal for heat, coal for powering those awesome traction steam engines and blacksmithing. Nothing like that smell and smoke...good times! Coal forever!!! 😁
