    OFFICIAL LDRS 42- urrg.us

If I'm reading this pad map correctly 'M' motors at the 'C-Rack` are OK. My son and I are planning to fly EX/Research 'M' motor rockets; single motor, non-complex. I looked around and didn't find any mention of research motors requiring further setbacks than certified motor flights require...

    OFFICIAL LDRS 42- urrg.us

Is there a pad layout map anywhere? My son and I have a new rocket that we hope to fly on a EX/research mid-range+ 'M' motor. We are hoping to fly on the 'normal' pads and not at the far away cell. We normally fly a rocket with EX 'L' motors on the normal pads at URRF events. Just wondering...

That gray & white rocket comes in at about 20 pounds dry. It has only flown on EX motors, small-L (~2500Ns) to big-L (~5000Ns). Might see if I can throw a 5-grain motor into that airframe. My guess is that you're right on the money with 9100 ft AGL.

Honestly, I don't recall. It has around 40 flights and is in the midst of a re-painting. However, I think it comes in around 25 pounds, dry. If I can weigh it, I'll update my guess.

older altimeters still good? How old is too old?

FWIW, I have an Adept dual deployment altimeter that uses the a23 12v battery that I got in 1993 and it still works today. Those were solid units. YMMV

Rocksim or Open Rocket file for LOCPRECISION 7.5" BRUISER EXP?

Well, title says it all. Toying with the idea of building a new 75mm motor platform for LDRS and going in kit mode because it's significantly cheaper than going full custom with components. I want to be able to fly mid-range M motors (6 grain 75mm). Thanks!

    Tohickon Scouts Spring Camporee Report

When my kids were young, we launched at Tinicum all the time. Couldn't fly too high for a variety of reasons, one being the proximity of Van Sant Airport. But it's a fantastic field.

Tinicum Park? Does PARA now fly regularly there or at that farm right on Route 611?

Are parking/launch pads in the same place as last year or as it was for years prior, further down the road in the 'flats'? Hoping for less wind this year.

Featherweight GPS - How to add additional tracker to ground station

Thanks. I got it working thanks to you and referencing the updated manual. Point of interest, now that I have both trackers working, each of them seem to have different sensitivities to GPS satellites. One gets 14+ right away and the other struggles with getting 6 and it never really goes...
