    I500 L1 (name TBD)

good luck! I500s are my favorite motor. One thing to consider if you care to: the av bay couplers can get a bit shaggy on a cardboard rocket and I never like how they "stick", so sometimes I'll saturate the entire coupler aft of the switch band with thin ca and then sand with fine grit so it's...

Wanted CTI 75 2-grain case only

Title says it all. Do you have one sitting around you'd like to sell? Rather not use spacers for my 2 grain loads. Would need gen 2.

    Star Orbiter ejection question

I fly mine mostly on F-15s and it's a fun pair. No issues w ejection, but I would imagine there is more BP in the ejection charge with that one. As mentioned there is no motor block, so a tape thrust ring is needed when using Estes BP motors. Love this rocket.

    Rocket holder for a bike?

Okay I've been thinking of getting an off-road capable E-bike. Sometimes where I fly (Lucerne) recovery is almost too far to walk, but not quite far enough to take the truck out (especially when I have it full of gear I'd rather not have bouncing around). Has anyone come up with a way to cary...

    Dedicated Altimeter(s) For Each Rocket

I always thought I would have a few altimeters that I'd share between rockets, but over time realized that the needs of each build requires a slightly different approach... but for my ongoing L3 build I've been adapting the modular system that Steve Thatcher designed (thanks Steve) - and I...

To early to talk about Black Friday??

Just to confirm- the WM sale right now is just for club members right? (I forgot to renew mine - not seeing sale prices)

    Thrustcurve Open Thread

Hi John, not sure what was the deal. The site wouldn't open on any browser - was getting a DNS_PROBE_SINISHED_NXDOMAIN message. I just changed my network settings to 8.8.8.8 in the DNS field and it did the trick. Works great now. Thanks as always for this excellent resource.

    L3 Project - Modular 98MM

Ha that's awesome. Nothing like a google to make us all math geniuses! I just found a similar calculator and got the exact same results - thanks for confirming! I also think I can take this to my watch repair guy and have him cut it for me to make the exact size I need for the "porthole"

    L3 Project - Modular 98MM

Thanks so much for posting this about your window glass - I've been looking for something like this. You wouldn't happen to know what radius would be the best fit for a 4" tube would you?

    Certification Specials?

Are motor manufacturers doing certification specials anymore? When you buy the reload and get the case for free? (or is it the other way around?). was going to use a AT DMS for my L3, but if there are other options would be open to that. Edit: I now realize I probably posted this in the wrong...

    WM Club Price Check Please?

Thanks to all - I figured that in the very least if it's a wash I'll re-join. I skipped out on Black Saturday this past season, so I figure the cost savings of that choice alone will more than cover it :)

    WM Club Price Check Please?

Hi folks, I hate being a cheapskate, but it's an expensive hobby and every little bit counts, right? Would someone who is a Wildman Club member mind checking to see what the WM club price is for a 4" Wildman Extreme kit? I let my membership lapse and wanting to see if renewing it will save me...

    Wildman Mach 3

Nice flight! Any idea what caused the dip/wobble off the rail?

    Terrier-Sandhawk

In fact it didn't. The blow-molded interstage was still a little too snug. I've sanded it down even more. I also think hitting it with a much more energetic boost will help. Separating the stages would be ideal, but I'm ok with letting the sustainer do the work. I've been told the sustainer...

    Terrier-Sandhawk

Fun and challenging build indeed. I've finished mine but have only done a test flight with a dummy motor in the Sandhawk to check drag separation. Will attempt an actual air start as soon as we can fly again. Also use the giant leap slimline retainer - it works great. Had to sand down the...

    Wildman Mach 3

Thanks for posting! I'm just about to start on mine for my L3 cert. I always love to see all the different ways to approach a build like this.
