    Rocket finder .. beepers?

As is, this looks way too big for most of my rockets. The Pratt version "fits in BT-20" and the drone one I linked is 25x14x15mm, so likely BT-20 as well. Hard to tell from the listing (sometimes they report "packaging" size) but it looks like that alarm is 42mm wide, might not even fit in BT-60.

    Rocket finder .. beepers?

Found this thread and discovered there's a new drone finder from the same company mentioned above that doesn't require the complicated wiring - it's designed to stand alone and charges with microUSB. I've got it my cart for next time I place an order at amazon...

Wanted Fresh Info And Scans Of The Estes Supernova (2011 and 7248) Instructions And Flat Parts (W/Ruler For Scale)

I've got my old #2011 from when I was a kid - not my first rocket but pretty close (first was Meteor #2025). It's been flown lots of times and if someone has an original unopened kit that would still be a better source. The two nosecones from my open kit and the nosecone from my assembled...

Wanted Fresh Info And Scans Of The Estes Supernova (2011 and 7248) Instructions And Flat Parts (W/Ruler For Scale)

Balsa is 3/32" Shock cord is 1/8" x 12" This open kit had two nose cones. One is a 2-part; the top is a smidge more than 4" (103.1mm). The other is presumably assembled by whoever opened the kit. It's got the same 4" top, a 21/32" shoulder, and a 7/8"x3/16" rectangular attachment loop. I've got...

Wanted Wanted a unique launch controller

I built my own (not for sale) and would echo what cls said (i.e. build your own). Don't expect it to be cheap. To add: I wired the launch switch in parallel with an XLR (three-pin microphone cable) jack in the side of the controller. The third pin lets me light up an LED ("armed") at the end of...

Estes Dings & Dents flash sale

I'd like a guarantee that the contents of the three-rocket $65 mystery box are actually worth that. Where's the $150 "retail price" coming from? In the "may include" slider I see riptide, gnome, viking, alpha...

Estes Labor Day Sale: 30% Off Select Rockets

Me too, neither worked, and free shipping was attached to one of them. Launch2023 worked though, and got me free shipping. Not as cheap as I hoped, but not bad. Bought LEO space train and aquarius from the 30% section.

    You want stuff?.........

When you agree to accept offers on eBay, you can specify a price below which offers will automatically be rejected, and a price above which offers will automatically be accepted. Only offers in the "in-between" range are presented to the seller. So if the seller (Godzilla) has put a "minimum...

    Scoot - a tiny 3d printed rocket

I've flown a few of these: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1743408 ...and they do tend to come in stable even after motor ejection. Mine all have dirt ground into the noses. I would suggest printing with as little infill as possible in the nose, maybe even hollow.

has anyone cloned an Estes mirv here?

Plenty of room for a bright streamer in the darts. It's the booster I'm always hunting for.

    Old Motors

Yeah, my only CATO to date was a vintage C motor-engine. (Motgine? Engtor?). Utterly destroyed an Estes Astron Skydart II on its second flight. And I've seen a fair share of E9's CATO, so if you've got any of those I'd dunk them.
