    Stupid mother $&@?ing! TLP Pershing

Don't get wrong I love these kits. I can't even look at an Estes kit without giving it the stink eye but I always put it together without gluing just to see everything fits how I want it to and I did but that was yesterday.

    Stupid mother $&@?ing! TLP Pershing

Yesterday the main body tube slid perfectly into the 3rd shroud and then I was going to cut the excess 1/16-1/8 off but now it doesn't and there is a slight over hang which is aggravating me to no end.

    Stupid mother $&@?ing! TLP Pershing

I'm walking away from it for a bit before I do serious damage that I'll regret.

    Stupid mother $&@?ing! TLP Pershing

Started working on my TLP Pershing yesterday everything was going great was psyched to work on it today. Yesterday I tested the fit with the shrouds and main body tube and the shroud went over it which I want so I can cut the excess so it looks seamless once I add a little filler now the god...

TLP bullpup 12c...who here has built one I have some questions?

No I have the bullpup 12c which is the 3.75" dia. I'm using an Estes parachute the same one that comes with the interceptor E.

TLP bullpup 12c...who here has built one I have some questions?

It is my first time but I had no problem. It's more of getting a smooth surface so when I get ready to prime & paint it doesn't look like it was once paper.

TLP bullpup 12c...who here has built one I have some questions?

I saw that thread already but thank you for replying back. I was more or less just looking for anyone who did build one to see how they went about the construction of theirs. I actually sent the guy you mentioned and someone else from that thread a PM but I have yet to hear from them.

TLP bullpup 12c...who here has built one I have some questions?

I know there's a thread already for this but no one is replying but I have some questions particularly about the shrouds and the placement of the launch lug. If anyone who has just tell me a little bit about how you went about the construction of yours I would appreciate it. I'm building one now...

SCALE - Bullpup (AGM 12) Gallery

Awesome job! I'm building one right now and was wondering if you used the ca glue on the shroud and tail cone as it said in the instructions? I want to make sure those are both smooth when all is said and done. I also would like to know the process you did when you did your nose cone? I want it...

    Nike Ajax markings help

Ok I apologize if I don't have this post in the proper category but I'm going nuts trying to find information and it's pissing me off. My next build is the nike Ajax from launch pad. I see markings of the Ajax all in white with lightning bolts. I can't find any info about this so if some can...

    Black Brant II help!

Thank you everyone...now I feel like a moron...I get it now...it's a filler between the fin and the coupler. When I look at the instructions and you see the diagram it looks like you're suppose to put them on each side of the fin. I forgot about the gap between the fin and coupler. I get it now...

    Black Brant II help!

Ok building the black brant II and in the instructions it says to take from the scrap balsa and sand a triangle that will go at the fin root on the plastic coupler. It says 3 are needed but the diagram shows 2 (left and right side of the fin) so that would mean 6 all together because 3x2=6 I...

    Vintage Estes kits...open or not

I agree with you all I say F it and build it. What's the big deal if you build it in 1983 or 2015. I'm just ranting a bit like I said I saw it on the olde rocketry forum and thought how "lame" that people were crying about him opening his blue bird zero kit.

    Vintage Estes kits...open or not

Screw it I say open them but it would depend on what you call vintage? I saw something on another forum where someone acquired a blue bird zero kit and he opened and built it and half the forum about had a heart attack. What's the point 'hey check out some of my vintage kits that I'm not going...
