Sure...why not. Whatever it takes to make it NOT break anybody or anything on the ground is worth the extra walk to find it when it lands. Something light (<G) I wouldn't worry too much.

There's lotsa folks that fly drogueless and do it well. IMHO just keep the stuff that deploys the main on top during descent and you're golden.

And furthermore...you'll probably figure out how to unf**k whatever it is that went wrong in time. Marriage is better than ever and...tangentially, rocket flew fine. Again, this rocket has some gottchas but it's worth the challenge in the end.

Echo Charlie Four was my most stressful build to date. If fact, it was almost the last straw of my marriage. I got way too sucked into it. Take a breather...it's just a rocket.

I wouldn't worry about having the same brand altimeters. It's the little things that get ya. I had twin Ravens sitting on power perches in mine at MWP. The older one (#69) had issues powering up the night before so I wired the redundant Rocketry Warehouse aluminum bulkheads to the second Raven...
