Sounds like the issue may be that the OP isn't formatting the card at all before installing on the open log?

Ordered a Darkstar Jr. just a few minutes ago, as well as another Eggfinder Mini and a Proton to go with the Mini and Quantum I've already built (wife and I don't share well, lol). We ARE still planning to share motor hardware, at least for now, lol.
