Anyone ever used Fix-It putty on FG tubes/fins for the external fillets? I may have to test this on a piece of G10 to see how it sticks.

Ebay has 1/8"x100' tubular kevlar for $24 shipped. Seems like a good deal if you need some heavier cord.

What are some pros/cons on lightweight fiberglass vs cardboard airframes? Some of the Maddcow LWFG airframe kits look cool. Do G10 fins require a different approach when glued? A good epoxy such as RocketPoxy needed for G10 fins and CR's? Some of the PML kits interest me as well. Thanks

I can change the angle of the deflector if needed. It's a 7" round. I've also got a 10" if needed.

I'm not sure Mr. mite, I hope to fly a 2lb build soon hopefully. The 3' detachable legs afford a stable base and could be braced with small sand bags if needed. I'm thinking it would accommodate 5-6lb models ok.

What's your source on the SS swivels and what size is that one?

That's cool. I like the hinge feature. I built mine with 2" pvc/fittings and a 6' piece of 1010 rail.

Could a nylon streamer be an option for windy days and/or a smaller field for a faster descent?
