Just saw on Facebook that this weekend’s launch has been rescheduled for January 18th and 19th.

Installed the fins on the Zephyr. Still need to finish up the fillets.

Unfortunately the January 4th makeup launch has been canceled due to weather. Hopefully the launch scheduled for the 11th and 12th will take place.

Today I built a simple stand to make building the Zephyr a little easier.

Today I helped my son prep his Apogee Nemsar for paint. Afterwards I started construction on my Apogee Zephyr.

I lucked out because the aft end didn’t suffer damage. I cut the damaged section of the rocket off at 20 inches from the bottom and ordered two new body tubes and two couplers from Estes.

Started working on repairing the Partizon that lawn darted last weekend. The ejection charge on the G79-7W Motor fired way too early and the parachute was ripped of.

I thought it was fake at first since she was stable the past couple of days....Very sad
