While watching paint dry... I started a Stick and tissue build. A Dumas laser cut F4F.
Trying a new track plan for the under tree layout. Trying to eliminate the S curves going into the siding, and to lengthen the sidings since I picked up some passenger cars and that train will be too...
Started the Estes Supernova a couple of days ago.
It is now in primer
When I was building it I thought that the fins looked familiar, and they are.
Just slightly different than the Alpha, or they could be the same and my sanding is a little enthusiastic.:questions:
Glad you asked.
I sure do wish that I had picked up another bottle of Future (or whatever it was named) before mine ran out. It was nearly a foolproof finish, if you wanted a gloss finish on your rocket.
Holloway House Quick Shine was recommended on several modeling sites as a replacement...
If there already is a gallery for the Expedition, please merge this with it.
Just finished the Expedition. lots of steps in the process, and lots of CWF to hide the joints on the tapered tubes. Overall a fun build.

And After:
All this talk of cars reminded me of something:
You know how to push start a manual transmission car, by yourself.
(I used to park mine where I could push the clutch in and let it roll for about 6 feet then let out the clutch to start it. Worked better in second gear. )
Finally... After waiting for paint to dry, the masking is finally off and the minor touchups are drying. Decals in a day or two.
Hanging to fully cure in the rocket closet.
My build list is too long. I am starting to look at the ones that have been waiting the longest to build. I have a couple from the late 90's that I should build. Then I have a couple more clones waiting to start. Decisions, Decisions.
Playing video games on a Magnavox Odyssey.
It was a color game when you put the colored plastic sheets on your TV and they stuck with the static charge of the picture tube.
Came out before Pong.
+1
I have in the past picked up a 4x8 sheet of masonite at HD, that had one side covered in a white melamine, which would also be a good choice.
I used it to cover unfinished shelving in my basement.
