Are you ready for the holiday sales?

I was just thinking this morning that I would have to put a Darkstar picture in a big box to put under the tree. No big deal! I knew what I was signing up for when I put in my order. Then, I opened my email and saw that my order had shipped. SPECTACULAR!!! Thank you, Tim, Jackie, et al. Looking...

    ProPEP 3

I am working on my first formula characterization with ProPEP 3, but I can't find two chemicals. I think I found Tepanol (or HX-878) (0.4%) the first time I added the chemicals, but I can't find it now. I also haven't been able to find Lecithin (0.2%). Perhaps at a total of 0.6%, it's not a big...

    Another Lathe ? Thread

Thanks. So, does it make sense for me to have #15 through 19 (maybe just 18) so I can go up or down two from 16? OR, do I need a broader range? I'm going an hour north to test motors with Al where it will be easier to trouble shoot if things don't go as planned. So, I'd like to be prepared (not...

    Another Lathe ? Thread

I got my graphite from Dan Patell last summer, but he got it from the Graphite Store. Granted I was only working on a 29-mm nozzle, but I couldn't have been happier with how the vacuum graphite pre-filter worked. Someone posted a link this link...

    Another Lathe ? Thread

Hi folks, Last summer, John D. offered to help me look at a lathe and later he introduced me to a friend Al as a lathe mentor. Al lives an hour or so north and is now the closest high-power/EX rocketeer that I know of. Al suggested I pick up an FE Reed lathe circa 1900 from a couple hours...

I’d be interested in the (what look to be) casting tubes and nozzles (with some information), but not the whole “lot.”

Painting rockets like a Senior Prom Date

+1 The probability of me losing a rocket is directly proportional to the time I spend painting it.

Sold Low/Mid Power Kits, including some uncommon items

That Art Applewhite Dragonfly monocopter also has a lot of flights on it. I don't know what to do now. It flies really well on an A9-4. I usually get my black powder motors from AC Supply, but when i placed my last order they said the A9-4 was discontinued.

I love all the Edmunds kits. I should post a wanted note for any and all. Here's a photo of a Gyroc I built from Jim Z's plan's 13 or 14 years ago. It's got lots of flights, in fact the hinges have been replaced lots.

Hey Troj, I'd love the Edmonds Tinee for $10. I'll send a PM. The first rocket I remember building was the Gyroc, but I'd build it, and somebody should probably collect it. Does it have a price? It was probably $3.50 back in the day. Thanks, Matt

What did you do rocket wise today?

Changed my avatar from photos given to me by John Sicker of my 3x Orbital Transport from LDRS XXXI (Potter, NY 2012). Thank you SO much, John!

What did you do rocket wise today?

So, I’ve been working on my shop (rocket barn) for the last few years. It sits on a pad and the water would come under the sill when it rained hard or when the snow was melting, so two years ago, I took off the bottom few boards to run ice and water shield covered by flashing up the walls and...

What did you do rocket wise today?

I use the 24 to 29mm adapter quite often with CTI motors. They work great! It just takes a little work with a Dremel so that the front of the motor can fit through the front of the adapter. I also sand (grind) off the bottom of the motor closure. The bottom of the adapter gets charred a little...
