Roachwerks Little Joe II (New In Box)

Well....after looking at this rocket still in the box for the past several years. I guess I have finally come to the conclusion I will probably never find the time necessary to build this kit with the attention it deserves. I will be posting it on eBay at the end of the week. I can't remember if...

Has anyone experienced smoke damage in their home?

Wow...some really great input. It seems as though the smoke damage is pretty severe and the insurance adjuster and contractor are discussing posssibly taking out all the drywall and starting over. The fire damage is limited to just the kitchen, but the smoke damage is the real issue. Now my...

Has anyone experienced smoke damage in their home?

We experienced a house fire this week and although the fire damage was limited to the kitchen, the smoke and heat filled the entire house. The insurance company says that Service Master can get rid of the smoke smell completely, but I've never experienced this before. I remember having a friend...

Hey zog43editor, I'm glad to hear you got your Bomarc. How long was the process from when you placed your order to when you received it? I hope Vin is able to turn things around because I really liked his kits.

Estes Renegade....cluster with the side boosters?

Working on a Renegade with a young friend of mine and we are considering installing a couple of extra motor mounts in the side boosters and launching it with a cluster of 3. Has anyone done this before?

    First Scratch Ignitors

So if you want to bypass the Nichrome Wire bit and make a conductive pyrogen, you can just add graphite to your composition. Would adding magnesium aid in conductivity as well as increase the heat from the ignitor? How conductive is magnesium?

    First Scratch Ignitors

SO.....when you make your own ingnitors by dipping them, I understand you can make the dip sollution using acetone, ping-pong balls and BP my questions are: What type of BP works best? Is FFFFg or Pyrodex a better choice? Has anyone ever used smokeless BP such as Reloader-7? When...

    Autobody paint job

Heck no.....should be an awesome looking rocket! The quality of autopaint is far superior to spray can Krylon. You should notice it in paint durability and less likely to chip. Have him put a final clear coat on it. Initially the paint will still be soft so give it a few days to harden up.

    Rotary Cutting Mats

Hey I just stopped by Wally World and in the sewing section I saw a cutting mat next to the rotary mats that indicated it was a self healing mat. Packaging was gray and orange and I think the brand was Fiskars. I just took a passing glance but I noticed for sure it said self healing cutting mat.
