On my L3 rocket I used enough 2 inch TN to get past the lip of my body tubes and 1 inch TN from there on. This was to reduce the chance of a zipper. I got my 2 inch TN from https://www.shockcords.com/2inch.htm with D links sewn in. Greg

Keep your rocket on the ground and prop up the forward end about 15 degrees with something. It is nice to see it pull out the chute for the main. Of course stand to the side as I have seen one flip backward. I'll defer on the BP. Greg
