For those of your that are hams what would you think of launching a rocket with a 20m ham transmitter as a payload?? At apogee a quarter-wave wire (antenna) would unwind and hang below the payload. The transmitter would only run a couple hundred milliwatts and would have a small memory keyer...

Hmmm, I wonder how many rockets I have launched off that pad??? Its a pretty neat setup and works great. I can't remember any rockets being damaged from the blast because the deflectors are upside down tho. CrashinJ

Before I do this I need to know if you can ship Estes motors thru the Post Office?? Don't know if its legal or not. I would think it is since I have got them thru mail before. Any cautions I should take?? These are A thru D motors nothing bigger. CrashinJ
