Nearly Five Year to The Day, Where Are WE Now?

Five years ago we were hyped, we had a mission, and were focused...I see now from the lack of interest here, as well as the TRA list serve, pretty much sums up where we are: Divided, Fractured, Disgrunteled...or maybe we just don't care anymore(?) I knew I should have made this thread a poll...

Nearly Five Year to The Day, Where Are WE Now?

I made propellant today...propellant inspired by watching Pat G. on a program aired on the Discovery channel in November 2003. I was in Orangeburg with a group of fellow rocketeers attending a Tripoli South Carolina Research Launch that weekend, and the program was a two or three part show...

    Max liftoff formula

On the contrary, I find that a calculator is a much needed item within my Range box...who knows, someone at the RSO table may want to know the max lift off weight of a given motor/rocket combo. They are great for all kinds of rocket science type calculations... Note: In 10-years of toting...

    New Star Trek Enterprise

Agreed, change to much from the original, and you lose your faithful base. The only thing that needed updating were the sets, acting (in many cases) and the scenarios. I really like the look of the Enterprise, and if JJ Abrahms stays true to form, his vision of pre-Star Trek (a.k.a The Star...

We had some members discover the world of potatoe cannons...and they showed their new found love at a launch many years ago. Needless to say, potatoe cannons are not allowed at launches anymore, once was enough. Seriously though, potatoe cannons have evolved much like rocketry (not to scale of...

Ahh, but if you read further, he only found RP through googling his own name...otherwise he was just being a typical teen (dumber than some), playing with fireworks (in his apartment). I do not think he had rocketry on his mind, in fact it was more of a "hey y'all, watch this..." No, the one...

Please don't share anything??!!??!! Did I read this correctly? Now thats just not right...I don't think that anyone should have to 're-invent the wheel' to learn this stuff... I'm not asking for a sticky like the other linkable threads, just a place where the curious individual could hang...

For my own curiosity, I would like to know where most of you 'research hounds' get your daily fix. This thread could be two fold, as it could post all of the links to known or unknown websites of interest, (in a nice sincere format)...maybe some of you will know these sites, and for those...
